
10th September Day 1
Arrive at Paro International Airport, visit Paro town and stroll around independently or with your guide, for some mementos, Souvenirs and lunch, towards evening visit the Kyichu Lhakhang the oldest temple in the country. Spend night Paro
11th September Day 2
After Breakfast at the Hotel, visit the Ta Dzong and nearby sites like the Rinpung Dzong
After Lunch Hike Paro Taktsang (5 hour hike back and forth), It is one of the most famous monasteries, perched on the side of a cliff 900 m above the Paro valley floor. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived on the back of a tigress and meditated here and hence it is called ‘Tiger’s Nest’. This site is recognized as one of the most sacred places in Bhutan. It was also visited by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1646 and is now visited by all Bhutanese at least once in their lifetime.
Afterwards, drive to Thimphu 11/2 hours. Spend Night in Thimphu
12th September Day 3
After Breakfast, sightseeing in Thimphu valley, visit the National Library and Archives of Bhutan then in close proximity visit Dechenphu Lhakhang built in the 12th century and renovated in 1996, then visit the Royal Textile Museum.
Visit the Buddha Point (KuenselPhodrang). Located a short drive away from Thimphu city centre, visitors can get a panoramic view of the Thimphu valley from here. You can offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest in the country. A walk in and around the premises taking in the scenic beauty of the surroundings is a popular activity even among the locals. Later, visit the Choki Traditional school where disadvantaged children are taken in and given free education in traditional arts of Bhutan, equipping them for jobs when they leave after several years.
Spend the night in Thimphu
13th September Day 4
After Breakfast, partake in the Thimphu Tshechu in Tashichho Dzong. After Lunch, stroll Thimphu town, you can spend in the capital’s town area where you can check out the Memorial Chorten, Clock Tower, Handicrafts Market, or a picnic at Ludrong Garden and eat at picturesque cafes and restaurants.
In the evening. Drive to Paro, spend the night in Paro
14th September Day 5
After Breakfast if time permits visit Paro town for some mementos, Souvenirs and lunch. Afterwards head to Paro International Airport to depart our country with beautiful memories.
